  • 1 cup 250g heavy cream

  • Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the self-rising flour and heavy cream until a sticky dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead 2-3 times.
  • Pat or roll the dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits using a 2-inch biscuit cutter, pressing straight down without twisting.
  • Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with additional cream.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
