This is Where I Leave You Movie Trailer

There’s just a little over a week until This Is Where I Leave You Movie hits theaters on September 19th. A couple of weeks ago, I shared the movie trailer with you. It looks like it would make a great date night movie.

This is where I leave you movie

About the film

When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens. Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide—driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.

I am really hoping to be able to go see This is Where I leave you. It kind of reminds me of my children, hoping my adult kids will get the message. From what I gather from the TV trailers, it’s about adult children reconnecting with each other and realizing how important family is even through the ins and out of rough and tumble life. I think I would like this film because in this day and age families can be so easily be “broken” apart – possibly not speaking to each other and squabbling over insignificant things. Life is too short to hold onto grudges and hurt feelings. We need to be more sensitive to the ones we love the most, even if at the time we don’t think we do.
Thank you for the opportunity for this giveaway.

I will most assuredly be seeing this on opening day Sept 19th. We have it set on our reminders in our phones. I saw the trailer to this a couple of weeks back. I want to see it & fell in love with the movie due to the comical take on life . The all star cast is awesome too. I was so sad to learn it was based upon a book I had not read yet! I am working on rectifying that as I type! Honestly I have not been this excited over a film in many blue moons!

I really hope to be able to see this movie. It looks hilarious to me. I’d like to see it because it reminds me a lot of my own life and family. It’s nice to know we’re not the only dysfunctional family out there.

Movie tickets are too high these days so we probably will not see it in theaters. It has a good cast though so I do want to see it at some points.

I’ll see the movie if a friend goes with me. It has an awesome cast, so I’d see the movie for them, not necessarily for the story.

This movie is right up my alley, great actors and I absolutely love what it’s about. Everyone seems to be pulled apart one way or another and this just brings things back to reality. Seems like a absolute wonderful film!

I probably won’t get to see this movie in the theater. We haven’t been to the movies in more than a year because we don’t have any reliable babysitters for date nights. I like movies that can be funny and awkward and heartwarming and serious as well.
