Halloween will be here before we know it.  So naturally, my mind has been turning to Halloween crafting.  My latest crafting addiction is washi tape.  I have been busy adding new Halloween washi tape assortments to my Etsy shop, so I thought I would share with you some fun ideas for using it for Halloween party treats, favors, and decor.

#1.  Use Halloween Washi Tape to decorate tea lights.

Candles can be a great way to set the perfect mood for your Halloween party.  If you use tea lights on your table, you can easily customize them to fit any theme by running some washi tape around the little metal cups.  Since washi tape is removeable, you can use the tea lights for something else after the party is over.

#2 Jazz up plastic utensils with washi tape.

I want clean up to be quick and easy after a party, so I nearly always use plastic silverware.  However, plain white plastic utensils can be so boring!  I love to decorate the handles with a bit of washi tape.

#3 Make quick and easy Halloween cupcake toppers with washi tape.

Simply take a 4 inch piece of Halloween washi tape and fold it in half over a toothpick or lollipop stick.  Take a hexagon or square punch to make a “V” on the end so it looks like a pennant.

Add a spooky flair to your crafting projects with this 3 roll set of Halloween washi tape.

The set contains 5 yards each of the following designs of washi tape – Skulls, Orange Chevron, and Spooky Text. Just perfect for cardmaking, scrapbooking, and more.

#4  Use washi tape to decorate clothespins for treat bags.

Clothespins are a cute and decorative way to keep treat bags closed.  It is so easy to dress them up by running some washi tape down one of the sides.

# 5 Use washi tape to decorate mason jar lids for party favors.

I love to use pint sized mason jars filled with candy as party favors.  It is quick and easy to make them to match your party them if you run a bit of washi tape around the lid.
